A mix of items is great, but another idea would be, to fill one box with one type of item to be distributed. Regardless of what you can send, the men will be thrilled and thankful to get anything from home. Thank you in advance for anything you can send.
FOOD ITEMS: Sweet things are a great treat, but that food more substantial is greatly appreciated. Food items that helps keep them hydrated and gives them fuel and energy to 'keep going'.
**Also, please keep in mind to keep items a size that they can carry... i.e: 2 small bottles of sunblock, shampoo, etc. rather than one large.
SUGGESTIONS:
Cup 'o Noodles soups
Dry cereal. Small, individual serving boxes.
Instant Malt O'Meal, Oatmeal, or grits.
Breakfast bars. Granola, cereal and CLIFF BARS, POWER BARS.
Bowl Appetite dinners.
Pop tarts
Tuna in the "fresh pouch". Doesn't require draining
Beef Sticks such as Slim Jims
JERKY
CANNED FOOD. Example: Ravioli, Weenies, Spaghetti, Chili, ect.
PEANUT BUTTER
Jelly
Canned meat and crackers
Single servings of bagged chips.
Cookies.

Lunchables. Many varieties that don't have to be refridgerated.
Hard Candy, to suck on, prevents dry mouth. (No Chocolate)
